A Perl class I have developed. This section covers the basics of the perl language in a format excellent for people that are unfamiliar with the language, or even totally unfamiliar with programming.Stands alone, but is also a good companion to the "Learning Perl" book from O'Rielly.
The evolving sequel to the Perl class, a Perl CGI class, This builds on the first section above, and its goal is to teach how to do CGI (dynamic web page) scripts.
The evolving sequel to the sequel... A really interesting approach that I have not seen done before, and An especially friendly introduction to Perl CGI that will have just about anyone up and coding in very little time. Go through this one first, and use the previous two classes for going deeper into areas of interest.
Lots of instructions about getting Red Hat Linux 7.0 working well on a Sharp Actius A150 laptop.
My (reasonably current) resume (updated 3/3/03).
Teleport to my home webserver. Note this is a kludge that will take you to a dynamic IP address, and I cannot control when my ISP may drop my connection and force you to return to this link to find the new location... don't bookmark anything there... Historically, however, it stays stable for days at a time. This is an experimental / exploratory server, and may come and go depending on what I am doing at the time.
I do not want to annoy all the other Kilgallon's on the planet, I would like to share. I will upon request put a link from the KilgallonFamily.com home for "other Kilgallons on the web". Send me whatever defining information you want, and where to direct people, and I will be happy to post a prominent link.
We are the Cincinnati Ohio Kilgallons. Bill is the son of the Greenville Ohio Kilgallons, the brother of the Baltimore Maryland Kilgallon Lees, and directly related to the Chicago Illinois Kilgallons
